I recently took a brief trip to Hong Kong last month and managed to sneak in a few sketches. Hong Kong is set to be my temporary home for the next 1-2 years, and I anticipate that this new environment will jolt my senses and inspire the creation of something entirely new.

You can't be in Hong Kong without having Tea. This is essentially the reason why and how Hong Kong was formed. Tea appealed to the Brits and they used opium to trade for tea that eventually led to the opium war and the occupation of Hong Kong. 

A visit to Hong Kong is incomplete without indulging in tea, a pivotal factor in the city's history. The allure of tea captivated the British, leading to the use of opium for tea trade, subsequently triggering the Opium War and resulting in the occupation of Hong Kong.

Even though Hong Kong is highly urbanized, there are many hiking trails surrounding this city. Beautiful for sure.

The skyline is dominated by skyscrapers; Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated and undoubtedly one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Despite its high level of urbanization, Hong Kong boasts numerous hiking trails, adding a beautiful contrast to the cityscape.
