Gift for Day Spring

One day someone emailed and ask if I could do a commission painting for his place. I usually don't sign up for commission work. However,  since I am at the tail end of my Art career, I decided  to engage and make a positive difference to someone else.

I informed my client about my intention to quit Art and expressed no interest with haggling over a small painting.
Instead, I requested that he makes a generous contribution to a charity ; hoping that he can at least make a  positive difference to someone else's life. He agreed and I went to his place  to sketch, came home to finish the painting and  mailed the completed painting. The client was happy  and   emailed me a photo of a stack of spare change that he has been accumulating. (his habit) This stack of money would become the donation for  Day Spring.

I couldn't sustain a good livelihood with my Art and I no longer carry any desire to be competitive over shapes or styles. There's nothingfor me to prove or gain in that aisle.  Since I am not rich and most likely can never be with Art,  I wanted to see how far my art can go with changing someone else's life (for the better).

Please do no contact me for more charity work because I have over exceeded my survival quota.
A real prosperous career will be great next
